On the dam line - Crespo’s maternal grandsire is the Cassini I son Candillo who jumped internationally. Below that is the Olympic stallion Quidam de Revel, sire of many international jumpers. Anchoring another stallion position is the famous Landgraf I, an extraordinary show jumper sire of Libero H, Leandra, etc. The next two stallions to be noted in the pedigree are the Cor de la Bryere-son Calypso I and the still valuable breeding stallion Rigoletto. Crespo comes from the Holstein line 474A. His great granddam Vanessa III was Holstein’s Champion mare and is mother of the approved stallion Calato. This family has contributed several Grand Prix jumpers and Approved stallions like Aldato, Deka, Montreal, Pessoa, Kyra, Cavalier ISH, Verdi, Notre Dame, Bubalu VDL, etc. Crespo perform well at his stallion test, scoring an 8.5 for his canter, posture & balance and rideability with an 8 for his scope.
