Foxy Sham
Successful Advanced and Intermediate competitor "Foxy" has all the qualities that we look for in our broodmares: an unbelievable performance record, a royal pedigree and a kind disposition. Foxy is by the famous Thoroughbred stallion Sham. Sham was 2nd to world renowned Secretariat in the Kentucky Derby as well as the Preakness. Foxy was the last year of direct Sham offspring before he passed away. Foxy is a gorgeous black with fabulous hunter movement. Her resume speaks for itself. She successfully competed in eventing and took her junior rider through Young Riders (basically the junior Olympics) We are thrilled to have Foxy join our elite group of broodmares.
Inspected August 2, 2005 for the American Hanoverian Society, Foxy was chosen Champion Non-Hanoverian mare. (the inspector used the words "ideal TB" to describe Foxy) Beacause of her incredible performance record she was moved up to the studbook (most TB are in the Hanoverian pre-studbook)
